Aj bum stavil slike prije ovog doradjivanja tj.ugradjivanja drugog motora...
U svakom slucaju auto nije radjen na nekim estetkim nacelima nego funkcionalnim tak da o estetici uopce nema potrebe raspravljati...
Meni je auto bas zbog te svoje "ruznoce" poseban i JEBEN!!!!

Mozda cete primjetiti cudnu kutiju na zadnjem frgicu...to je malo kemijal sa dotokom zraka u zadnji motor jer je ispocetka imao problema sa njim...jebiga treba ih nekak uskladit ne Cool

A ovo su tehnicki podaci o autu!

THE FASTEST ACCELERATING MINI IN THE WORLD ( A series )
( A bold claim some might say ; so read on then decide )


This car was buit initially over a two year period, with hillclimbing & sprinting in mind.
Once finished in late 1996 it became apparent that this ?MINI? realy did fly, as a visit to York Raceway proved 13.76 out of the box. After a 1997 season, which saw many whispers and much backstabbing by other competitors ( never an official protest, they
weren't brave enough ), saw me abandon the hills for the much less beaurocratic sport of
DRAG RACING.

Having, in the past aquired as much information on previous quick minis as I could, it appeared there was a Mini in the carrabean that had run 12.9 secs quarters. This then would be the time to beat.

On straight petrol this car was by now down to 13.56 secs quarter, to go qucker would mean either more power; or lose weight or; both.
First I tackled the power with a phone call to ?Highpower Nitrous Systems? which resulted in a deal wherby I would puchase the basic system minus a large discount.
High power would then up rate to there full electronic progressive injection controller, plus supply the N2O at cost, fit the system, tunr the system, and offer full on event technical backup for as long as it took to run a 12.5. This figure was decided upon as it was well inside any thing run before, and due to the power level increases we were aiming for would not be over optimistic.

Onto 1998 and with ?the gas? fitted to the original race engine we set about our goal and by the year end we had lowered the ET to 13.00 with a 75 hp increase.
Now to 1999, and with a new low compression cylinder head, lower ratio gearing and a bespoke nitrous camshaft designed by APT in the USA, things started to look really promising. First tme out with N2O levels back to 25 hp the car ran 13.00. Steady progress was made from there on, until july 20 at York Raceway the car run 12.58 quarter at 105.8 mph with N2O power now back at 75 hp, job done, next stop elevens.
Year 2000 saw more progress with a handful of low twelves due to even more power now up to a maximum 100 hp of gas and the use of special wrinkle wall drag tyres running as low as 5lbs ( yes 5lbs ), at these low preasure these tyres create phenomenal traction, but can be a little unnerving over the line at narly 115 mph.
Enough traction to unleash over 200 bhp without any wheelspin whatsoever.
Eventually on 27 August 2000 again at York Raceway during the Hot Hatch Spectaculer I was asked by the organisers to run against a 500+HP TURBO NITROUS 4wd Cosworth Capri, a car which has regulary turned in low 11. second passes. This race turned into an historical event as I won with a time of 11.765 secs at 112.78 mph against a 12.374 secs at 116.13 mph THE FIRST AND ONLY MINI TO RUN IN THE 11. SECOND BRACKET, making this car the fastest accelerating Mini in the world. ( unless you know and can prove otherwise ).

As you have read, and if you examine this Mini very closely you will surely agree it is no pretender, as so many are.
At one time the 12. second pass was my aim, now it is entirely possible that I could be into the 10. second bracket.
Remember if you will, this car still uses the ?A series? engine of a mere 1312 cc.


VEHICLE SPECIFICATION

BODYSHELL


Early 1000cc Rover Cooper ( front end right off ).
Proprietary GRP boot lid + front end.
Hand made beach framed doors, covered in 1.2 mm GRP.
Polycorbonet screen, remainder in perspec.
42mm CDS rollcage; incorporating steering column support.
Removed boot floor, modified and raised rear arches.
Rear seat back removed, replaced with alloy baulkhead.
All sound deadening, clips and brackets removed inc. dash panel.
Silencer tunnel fitted to passenger floor pan ( now redundant ).
Brace bars fitted to front baulkhead for for attachment of coilovers.
Hand crafted aluminium wheelarches.
Foam filled sills and box section.
Alluminium fuel tank.
Tubular steering column.

FRONT

Tubular titanium subframe, 27mm od, 1.5mm wall. 13LBS in weight.
Titanium top arms with titanium pins.
Titanium R.J. ( Rose Jointed ) bottom arms.
Titanium R.J. tie rods.
Titanium steerings arms.
R.J. track rod ends.
Titanium steering rack ends.
Billet aluminium swivel hubs ( 7075 T6 aerospace spec ).
Billet aluminium alloy drive flange incorporating disc bell ( again 7075 )
Titanium centre locks with 2014 T6 alloy nuts + SS safety clips.
Pro shock alloy bodied coil overs 150 lbs springs, Titanium bolts, modified platforms.

AERODYNAMICS

THE LATEST INSTALMENT

The rear engine conversion was carried out over the latter part 03 and into 04.
Now with rear titanium rear swing arms and lightweight aircraft alloy drive flanges similar to the front, but carrying small motorcycle callipers, alloy bodied coil over dampers.
The tachometer is linked to the rear engine to monitor launch RPM.
Both engines are basically of identical spec and when running on full power with N2O assist will be producing circa 450 hp max with 400 lbs of torque.
The car, now with the two engines fitted weighs 570 KGS.

I'll let you work out BHP per tonne!!! BLUM

Or to put it in simpler terms will hit 100 mph from standstill hopefully in under 7 sec's.
